"An endless stream of pilgrims
Made their way into Jerusalem,
To offer up the goat, the lamb, and dove.
Atonement for their sin was made,
But only for a season;
And still their empty hearts cried out
For a lasting peace and love.
And then from Bethlehem He came,
Emmanuel was His name;
He knew the world would need a sacrifice.
And a million lambs could never pay the price.

Once and for all,
He walked the road to Calvary,
Carrying the sins of ev'ry man upon His shoulders.
Once and for all,
He conquered death victoriously,
Tearing down the separating wall.
The price was paid in full once and for all.

An endless stream of mercy
Falls like rain from heaven's holy throne,
To everyone who calls upon His grace.
And tho' we all were sinners
He loved beyond our weaknesses;
Though we were unworthy,
He came to suffer in our place.
And as His blood fell to the ground,
Our hope again was found;
No longer are we guilty and oppressed,
For He has thrown our sin as far as east is from west.

Once and for all,
He walked the road to Calvary,
Carrying the sins of every man upon His shoulders.
Once and for all
He conquered death victoriously,
Tearing down the separating wall.
The price was paid in full once and for all."

This song really spoke to me today. As I listened to it in the car, somehow God's mercy and immeasurable love just overwhelmed me. I've been feeling so tired the past few days, thank God this song lifted my spirits abit.
